Injection tube procedure
The primary function of the injection canals used by VARIOSEAL partners is as a transport canal for the sealing material, which means, an artificial void will be made in the concrete which will itself be sealed during the application of the pressurized sealing agent.
After the contraction process of the concrete is complete, this void will then be filled with a completely harmless injection gel.
The injection of the system is done over injection canals, which are installed before the concrete pouring procedure and whose filling and ventilation tubes are secured to the reinforcements.
The VARIOSEAL system is divided into both canals which can be filled only once, as well as canals which can be repeatedly filled. In cases where setting or movement in the area of the concrete joints is possible, we prefer to apply the multiply fillable canals.
The variety of materials which may be used when applying the injection tube procedure is as varied and multi-faceted as the structure of buildings today. From the classic 2 or 3 component gel injection all the way to modified acrylic resins which help reduce material usage with help of the two level injection.
Only the correct recipe of injection agents, specifically matched to the type of building and its use, can guarantee success.
- Guaranteed success for up to 12 years, depending on building type.
- Environmental tolerability.
- Proven, guaranteed protection against corrosion for steel reinforcements, because the use of salts is completely eliminated.
- Professional installation by VARIOSEAL Sealant technicians.
- May be multi-fillable, when desired.
