Negative barrier (surface sealant - inside)
The VARIOSEAL restorative plaster system (for inside applications) can withstand the pressure of a column of water 40 m high!
The first step of the VARIOFLEX Restorative plaster system (after completing necessary preparatory work) consists of applying a reactive sealant which acts as a massive hydrophobe.
The chemical combination causes the product to react, and the resulting agent fills the capillary pores (small, moisture carrying hollow spaces) until they are completely hydrophobic (water intake is blocked). The water repellent effect is noticeable after only a few hours.
The VARIOSEAL Restorative plaster system's second step involves a mineral sealant membrane used as a surface barrier against water. The membrane is composed of mineral Zuschlägen, high strength cements, and water dispersing Sulfatex polymers as well as the additives necessary for successful application. This membrane is applied to the damaged area up to 3 times, depending on the level of moisture.
The Sulfatex polymers react chemically with the cement while setting, similar to a two component synthetic material. An organic-mineral polymer structure is the result, unparalleled in both rigidity and durability, which will later serve as the foundation for your desired plaster application.
The VARIOSEAL System for negative barriers and surface sealants is comprised of high quality products which have been carefully selected and matched to one another, so that VARIOSEAL can even solve your problem.
