General information on restorative sealant
Before our sealant and injection technicians drill the first hole, they will analyze the cause of the damage as well as locate the source of the water seepage, which allows the restoration to proceed in perfect harmony with all economical considerations.
Besides the key data collected on-site, such as for example the type of building material used, the indoor climate, the type of water pressure, etc., the moisture profile of the wall provides information as to whether:
- The moisture level is rising
- Water is penetrating from the side
- Moisture is being caused by evaporation
- Moisture is a result of defective pipelines or other water systems
In order to formulate a professional restorative concept, a building-state-analysis must be completed. This is performed non-binding and totally free of charge by our VARIOSEAL Engineers.
After our engineers have gathered all the necessary data, an individually designed concept for restoration will be developed, matched specifically to the property in question.
There are many advantages to the injection technique, such as:
- The problem areas are sealed systematically and immediately on-site.
- Extensive work associated with digging up external facilities to repair or completely replace faulty sealants is eliminated.
- The results of the restoration can be inspected immediately.
- Due to the multitude of injection media available and the adaptability of their specific receptors, changes to the strategy can be made or new findings applied, all directly on-site.
